Hi. I'm a watercolor painter.
You've probably already looked through the pictures on the home page, so now I'd like to give you a little more to think about.
Some of the paintings are available for sale, some indicate that they were COMMISSIONED or that they are already SOLD or that they are in a PRIVATE COLLECTION.
Instead of removing the pictures that aren't available for sale, I wanted to leave them up as examples of how I paint, how I work.
Painting Commissions
So what is a painting commission? It's simply a painting I do based on your own photo. It's personal to you.
If you commission a painting, every time you look at it, it is meaningful to you. It can transport you to a time and a place that gave you a feeling that you'd like to recapture, that you'd like to live with.
All of my commissioned paintings are done from photographs that clients provide. If you're unsure what would translate into a good piece of artwork, I would tell you honestly, based on the photo you're interested in. You don't have to be a great photographer. Often a snapshot works just fine. All my work is guaranteed.
Everything is agreed to ahead of time: size, materials, price. And the guarantee is that if you don't like the finished painting, I'll do it over again or you can simply decline to accept it, no hard feelings.
As you saw on the Home Page, my paintings are primarily landscapes. I don't do portraits of people or pets.
